The Sauerland offers excellent sports and recreational activities, ranging from hiking, Nordic Walking and mountain biking in the unique natural landscape of the Arnsberg Forest, through sailing, canoeing, surfing and boating on the numerous rivers and lakes in the area, to sky-diving and parachuting! Tennis cracks can also enjoy their favorite game to their hearts’ content, and it will be our pleasure to book tee-off times for golfing fans on one of the five 9 to 18-hole courses in the vicinity. And bikers will get their thrills in the area, too! Long, winding routes and beautiful stop-off spots all along the way.
Tennis
Tennis players, too, can look forward to a wide range of options for practicing their sport. The tennis club directly opposite the hotel has 12 clay courts, which can be used during the summer months. An indoor tennis hall offers 4 tennis courts at only 5 minutes’ drive from the hotel. We will be pleased to book a court for you: fee varies according to the day of the week and the time of play.
Nordic Walking (price on request)
This form of exercise combines active walking using special poles that incorporate the entire upper body into the movement action. This results in a gentle and rhythmic yet effective form of full-body training.
Aerobic (price on request)
Dynamic form of exercise, practiced in groups, to rhythmic music. Promotes stamina, firms the skin, and activates the muscles.
Gym (price on request)
Our fitness area (200m²) is equipped with hydraulic exercise equipment, cardio-equipment (treadmill, bicycles, stepper, cross-trainer, rowing machine) and weight lifting area. Use of the fitness area is subject to a daily fee of €8.
